Pastor Denny Smith has been the pastor of Valley Baptist Church since 2003. He is a graduate of Tennessee Temple University in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Before coming to Valley, he served as an associate pastor for twenty-eight years at Lavon Drive Baptist Church in Garland, Texas. Pastor Smith has a burning desire to reach people with the message of Jesus Christ and help Christians to grow in Christ.
The Smiths’ two children are married and serving the Lord, one here with us and the other in Virginia. Between them they have given Pastor and Carolyn five wonderful grandchildren!
