DAY 66
DATE: 3/7/13
Good morning! My name is Keith C. Gerstenberger and I was asked to give you a devotional thought from the book of Revelation 21 and 22.
KEY VERSE:
Revelation 21:6 And He said to me, It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without price from the fountain of the water of Life.
REFLECTIONS:
In the book of Revelation, John tells us what God revealed to him about the Lord’s second coming and what the end times and Heaven would be like. We don’t know when this will happen but we know we are in the last days. In chapters 21 and 22, John tells us what New Jerusalem will be like, the beauty and majesty of the new earth, the reality of the coming judgment, and the opportunity we will have to worship Jesus forever. We must repent and turn to Him, for He has freely paid the price for our everlasting life with His own life, and there is no other way to Heaven except through Jesus.
APPLICATION:
As we have just finished a series on our church community and the world, we need to do all we can to further the kingdom of God, for our time is short but the fields are vast. We have a chance to help our community through the Easter Basket project. We also need to witness in each of our mission fields where we work every day.
Thank you for being a part of the 66-Day Challenge. Thanks for reading, and you have a blessed day.
In Christ,
Keith
